Plan Your Visit to the Lake County Court and Administrative Complex

Face coverings are currently required in all Lake County government buildings for both vaccinated and unvaccinated people. This requirement is in alignment with State of Illinois Executive Order 21-22, which requires individuals over the age of 2 and who can medically tolerate a face covering to wear a face covering when in indoor public places to wear a face covering when in indoor public places.

There are several parking options available to visitors, including one county parking garage, three city parking garages, and metered parking.


Upon entering the complex you must enter through a security screening. The following items are not allowed in the court complex.


All visitors of the complex have access to the County Street Café and coffee shop, which are located on the first floor of the administrative building.

Café Hours:
Breakfast: 7:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
Lunch: 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Coffee kiosk Hours:
7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Lake County offers complimentary internet access to the public visiting the Lake County Court and Administrative Complex. To connect, simply turn on your laptop, cell phone, tablet or other wireless device and select “LC-Public“ from the available wireless networks.
