Workforce Development Board

​Purpose

 
The Lake County Workforce Development Board is a business-led policy and oversight board for workforce development programs and services in Lake County.  Among other activities, the Board:
  • Convenes stakeholders to discuss and develop strategic solutions to local workforce challenges;
  • Aligns workforce resources with the needs of the local economy through the development of career pathways and sector strategies;
  • Collects, analyzes and explains labor market information for jobseekers and employers; and
  • Ensures that workforce programs and services and meeting strategic and compliance related performance outcomes and financial targets.
