Volunteer Program

The Lake County State’s Attorney's Office plays an important role in the community, strives to prevent crime and helps those who have been affected by crime. In that regard, the Lake County State's Attorney's Office launched the SAO Volunteer Program for individuals interested in volunteering their time and talents to help their community.

Throughout the years, the office has evolved into a larger span of outreach, responsibility and complexity. The volunteer program allows the state's attorney's office to reach more community members and shed a light on the role and responsibilities of the Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office. In addition, the
program allows qualified volunteers to learn more about the criminal justice system and assist those that have been affected by crime.

People interested in joining the SAO Volunteer Program should contact Nicole Farrow at [email protected] or at (847) 377-3000.
