Visit an Inmate

Lake County Jail will be offering remote Video Visitation services through ViaPath GettingOut and VisManager video visitation service. With video visitation options, incarcerated individuals and their friends and family can connect more frequently and personally, which helps boost morale, increase positivity, and strengthen relationships. Plus, all incarcerated individuals received one free visit per week.

Ways to Video Visit

Remote Video Visits: Accept video visits on the go! Your incarcerated loved one can initiate a video visit with you through the ViaPath Tablet without needing to schedule ahead of time.

Next Steps: You’ll need a GettingOut account* and the GettingOut Visits mobile app download on your Android or iOS device to receive video visits. Be sure to be signed into the mobile app and have push notifications turned on.

* If you already have a ConnectNetwork account, the same credentials can be used to log into GettingOut.

Currently, all visits are conducted remotely.  If you are unable to visit remotely, please contact Jail Command at 847-377-4150 (M-F 8am-5pm) for further instructions.

Onsite Video Visits:  All onsite video visits take place in the Lake County Jail visitation lobby and must be scheduled a head of time.

Next Steps: You’ll need to register through Lake County Jail's VisManager portal. Once approved, you’ll be able to schedule your onsite visits through the visitor portal.
