The Lake County Regional Framework Plan is the countywide comprehensive plan for managing land use, directing growth, and protecting the natural environment. The Framework Plan was adopted by the Lake County Board in November 2004.
Most cities and villages in Lake County have their own comprehensive plans. Copies of many of these plans are available in the Planning Resource Center, however you should contact the appropriate municipality for more information about individual municipal plans.
