Job Center Services

The Job Center of Lake County has re-opened for limited appointments.  Jobseekers can set up a time to use the computers for self-directed job search at our office at 1 N. Genesee St. Waukegan by calling 847.377.3450.   Masks required.  We can also assist you remotely with your job search and career transition. Email your request to jobcenter@lakecountyil.gov.

Unemployment Insurance  Job Center personnel cannot answer questions regarding unemployment insurance.  You can file online and view a list of frequently asked questions at ides.illinois.gov

On May 14, 2020, the state of Illinois launched Get Hired Illinois – a web portal designed to connect workers with available job and career training opportunities across the state of Illinois.
