8/5/2022 - Bridge beams have been set and concrete deck framing currently in progress. For week of 8/8, crews will begin installing the steel reinforcement bars in the deck and start excavating/grading ditches.
7/29/2022 - Storm sewer work south of the creek in progress. Crews plan to set the bridge beams on Monday (8/1) and begin framing the concrete bridge deck later in the week. They will also continue storm sewer installation week of 8/1.
7/22/2022 - River rock installation along the creek and retaining wall construction is in progress. For week of 7/25, crews will continue constructing the north and south retaining wall and work on storm sewer installation just north of Barrington High School intersection. Also, contractor might set bridge beams towards the end of the week.
7/15/2022 - North bridge abutment and wingwall has been completed. The south abutment and wingwall have been poured. Work on south retaining wall and storm sewer is in progress. For week of 7/18, crews will continue building the south retaining wall, storm sewer and channel excavation/grading. Contractor will also begin driving H-piles and construction of the north retaining wall.
7/8/2022 - North bridge abutment and wingwall construction is in progress. Also, crews are currently working on driving piles for the south abutment. For the week of 7/11, the contractor will continue driving piles for the south abutment and begin channel excavation/river rock installation and storm sewer work.
7/1/2022 - The last culvert pipe has been removed and pile driving for the north bridge abutment has been completed. Rip rap installation on the south side of the bridge in progress. For week of 7/5, pile driving crew will relocate to the south side and begin driving piles for the south abutment. Also, the contractor will begin frame work for the north abutment.
6/24/2022 - The existing middle and north pipe culvert has been removed. Rip rap installation in progress for north abutment. For week of 6/27, crews plan on driving piles for the north abutment, beginning work for the north retaining wall on east side of Hart Rd, and removing the last culvert pipe (south piece).
6/17/2022 - Existing pipe culvert removal in progress. For week of 6/20, crews will continue removing the old pipe culvert and begin bridge excavation work.
6/10/2022 - Tree removal has been completed. Pavement removal and silt fence installation in progress. For the week of 6/13, crews will be doing some miscellaneous prep and excavation work for pile installation. Contractor plans on driving test piles for the bridge around midweek.
6/3/2022 - Hart Road is now closed and construction work has started. Crews have started working on guardrail removal. Week of 6/6 crews will continue guardrail removal, begin tree removals, install silt fence and other erosion control items, fence and pavement removal.
