Any registered voter can vote by mail making this is an ideal voting option for snowbirds, students away at school, and those who will be traveling on Election Day as your ballot can be mailed anywhere.
It's simple to vote by mail. Complete the short, required application form and return it to the Clerk’s office before noon on Thursday, February 21.
Applications are available by:
• Logging onto LakeVoterPower.info,
• Calling 847.377.2406, or
• Emailing your name and address to VotingbyMail@lakecountyil.gov.
Your voted ballot must be postmarked by Election Day.
Remember, 17 year olds can vote in this primary election if their 18th birthday is before April 2, 2019.
The February 26th Consolidated Primary Election is not a county-wide election and is only for City of Waukegan qualified residents in Wards 2, 3, 7, and 8. There were no Republican candidates or questions of public policy certified for the February.

Early voting and registration are available in the Lobby of Lake County's Main Courthouse. This is the only early voting site for this election and offers evening and weekend hours.
