    October 19, 2019, 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM @ Pine Dunes Forest Preserve

The simple act of walking, especially in nature, can improve one’s overall health, both physically and mentally. Walks range in length from 1 to 2 miles. Everyone can walk at their own pace and distance. Walks are guided by a NorthShore physician, a Lake County Forest Preserve naturalist, and staff from the Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center. The walks are open to all ages, but those 16 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. Walks are rain or shine. With the exception of service animals, pets are not allowed. Learn more and find the full Rx for Health schedule at livewelllakecounty.org/rxforhealth.
