Pace ADA Paratransit Services

Pace operates accessible fixed route services in Lake County. This paratransit service is required by the federal Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Pace ADA complementary paratransit services are provided within 3/4 mile of local fixed routes. Only persons who are certified by the Regional Transportation Authority as a person with a disability are eligible to ride this service. Trips are only provided at the same times and within the same geographic areas as fixed route.

ADA Service

Reservations
Reservations can be made one day prior to needing service and trip requests can be made at any time during the reservation hours. Please check the ADA Paratransit Service Directory section (above)  for the call in times for your area.

The Service Provider Has the Ability to Negotiate Trip Times
If the time you request is not available, the service provider has the ability to negotiate trip times. The call takers must offer you a trip within one useful hour before or after your requested time. If you have an appointment time or other commitment, please advise the call taker.

Travel Time
A trip is considered on time if the bus arrives within 15 minutes after the scheduled pick-up time. Also, Pace paratransit services are shared rider programs and other riders may be picked up and/or dropped off during your trip. Most trips will take longer than a direct trip. It is important that you keep these factors in mind when requesting a pick-up time.
