In 2013, the County, Lake County Partners and the Lake County Transportation Alliance sponsored a state highway projects consensus update meeting for local elected officials and the group reaffirmed its commitment to the consensus list of state projects.
The Lake County Coordinated Transportation Services Committee (LCCTSC) Northwest Demonstration Project provides curb-to-curb dial-a-ride transportation service in the northwest townships of Antioch, Avon, Fremont, Grant, Lake Villa, and Wauconda. This program is expanding to the southeast area of the county to include the townships of Libertyville, Moraine, Shields, Vernon, and West Deerfield. Learn more.
