Lake County Comprehensive Stormwater Management Plan/SMC Strategic Plan Update/Stormwater Management Needs Assessment & Program Analysis - CLOSED
This year, the Lake County Stormwater Management Commission (SMC) is undertaking an important effort to update the Lake County Comprehensive Stormwater Management Plan (Plan). The Plan provides the framework for the County’s coordinated, countywide approach to managing stormwater runoff and mitigating the effects of urbanization on stormwater infrastructure. The Plan also serves as SMC’s Strategic Plan, defining SMC’s mission, programs, and services, and providing guidance for SMC as it works to implement the Plan and achieve the County’s stormwater management goals.
SMC is seeking a qualified and experienced consultant to provide assistance with this important effort. In general, the selected consultant’s role in this project will be to: (1) complete a countywide stormwater management needs assessment to help better understand Lake County’s current stormwater management issues and needs; (2) complete a countywide stormwater management program analysis to help better define the current roles of the entities responsible for stormwater management within the County; (3) identify un- or under-addressed stormwater management issues and needs and opportunities for improvements in Lake County’s coordinated, countywide stormwater management program; and, (4) update SMC’s strategic plan and provide a blueprint for the future of SMC as it continues to work to implement the Plan and achieve the County’s stormwater management goals.
The Request for Qualifications (RFQ) presented below contains additional information about this project, instructions for the preparation and submittal of a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) to SMC in response to the RFQ, and information about the consultant selection process that will be used for this project.
