"Implementing Community-Driven Stormwater Solutions" was presented by Josh Ellis; Program Director & Abby Crisostomo; Program Associate of the Metropolitan Planning Council. Josh and Abby talked about the Milwaukee Ave. green infrastructure grant program, smart downspout disconnection, and some new funding sources that could be useful in implementing such projects. About the Council
The Bull Creek-Brook Watershed Council is ready to move forward with the mission of improving water quality, protecting and restoring natural resources, reducing flood damage, enhance education and stewardship and guiding new development to benefit the watershed goals. Application to become an official member of the council requires adoption of a community/organizational resolution, or a letter of commitment to use the plan as a guidance document within the context of community or organizational decision-making as it affects the greater watershed goals.
