Police Reports and Accident Reports can be obtained in person at:

Accident Reports can be obtained in person or by mail. General Accident reports have a cost of $5.00 per report. In major accidents which have had an accident reconstruction, the reconstruction cost $20.00 per copy.

In some cases reports cannot be released, and a Freedom of Information Act (F.O.I.A.) request must be filed, in person with the Lake County Sheriff's Office. These reports include all Investigations of a sensitive nature, an arrest has been made, or a juvenile is named in the report.
