Pursuant to the Sex Offender and Child Murderer Community Notification Law, 730 ILCS 152/101, et seq., the Lake County Sheriff's Office maintains a list of sex offenders residing in unincorporated Lake County who are required to register under the Sex Offender Registration Act, 730 ILCS 150/2, et seq. The list of those sex offenders is being offered on this web site as a public service.
This list also contains the last known address of sex offenders who have failed to register as required by law. If you know the location of a sex offender who is in violation of the registration requirements, you can leave a confidential tip at sheriff@lakecountyil.gov or by calling the Sheriff's Office directly at 847.549.5200.
Although every effort is made to keep this list accurate and current, the Sheriff cannot guarantee the accuracy of this information. Offenders may have moved and failed to notify the Sheriff or local law enforcement agency as required by law.
