Move In or Move Out
Are you moving into or out of one of our water and/or sewer service areas?   Please contact our billing department at least two business days but no earlier than 30 days prior to the move.

• Buyers
We will need the service address, the name(s) you would like on the bill, the billing address (if different from the service address) and a contact phone number.  We will obtain a meter reading on your closing date and will set up your new account.  Your first bill will be generated with the next regular cycle billing which may take up to three months.

• Sellers
Please provide your forwarding address and the name of the buyer, if available.  A final meter reading will be taken and your account will be closed as of the property closing date.  You should expect a final bill within two weeks of your move.

• Tenants and Landlords
Service for rental properties will be billed to the tenant or the landlord, depending on the information provided for our records.  We will need the name, phone number and move-in date of new tenants, and the date and forwarding address of tenants moving out.  As property owner, the landlord is responsible for updating this information and for the resolution of delinquent bills.

• Realtors and Attorneys
Requests for property closing letters should be faxed to 847.377.7173 at least two business days prior to the closing.  The request must be sent on company letterhead with your name, title, phone number and fax number.  Include the property address, closing date, seller’s name and buyer’s name.  Please be aware that we cannot provide the amount of the final bill in advance of the closing because our bill will be based on the final meter reading.  If you’re not sure that the property falls within our service jurisdiction please check the maps of our Water Service Areas and Sewer Service Areas before faxing your request.
