The Lake County Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice (AI) official public comment period ended October 15, 2014. This third and possibly final version of the AI is scheduled to be considered by the Lake County Board on November 11, 2014 and at public meetings of the Joint Committees in preparation for the November 11, 2014 County Board public meeting.

LAKE COUNTY FIVE-YEAR CONSOLIDATED HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PLAN (2015-2019)
The Lake County Housing and Community Development Commission will hold two Public Hearings (See Full Notice) on community development and housing needs of low-income residents of Lake County, IL. Members of the public throughout Lake County are welcome to attend in order to provide input in a citizen participation process – currently underway – resulting in the development of the Lake County Consortium’s next five-year Consolidated Housing and Community Development Plan for the program years 2015 to 2019.

The Housing and Community Development Commission Advisory and Recommendation Committee (ARC) meetings that were scheduled to meet in December 2014, in the 2nd floor Conference Room, 500 W. Winchester Road, Libertyville, Illinois, have been cancelled. They had been scheduled as follows:

Community Development activities are overseen by the Housing and Community Development Commission (HCDC), which meets the second Wednesday of every month at 3:30 PM.
