Lake County has 18 political townships, that is, a geographic area having elected township officials. These maps show the boundaries for the districts that are present within each of the 18 townships. Note that these maps cover smaller geographic areas than the countywide maps and so also carry more locational detail for the district boundaries.
To access an individual township map click on a township below. The maps are in Adobe Acrobat PDF file format, some files are large and may take a while to view. These maps are intended to be printed at approximately 34" x 56" and if printed at 8-1/2 x 11 will not be very legible.
Paper copies of the same tax district maps are available for purchase.
Published annually, in the first part of each year, these maps are up to date as of the last business day of the preceding year, usually December 31st.
