Lake County Workforce Development is a partner with the Job Center of Lake County, an Illinois workNet Center. Under the Workforce Investment Act (WIA), Lake County Workforce Development can pay for qualified jobseekers to attent short-term training to enhance their wage and career possibilities. Training is individualized to the customer.
Free job search workshops are available at the Job Center on an ongoing basis.
